Investigating Watergate
Work your way through the following assignments to complete your understanding of Watergate and its impact on journalism. Take notes as you research the time period, events, and key players in the reporting of the scandal. If your interest is piqued feel free to explore beyond this information. (That would be impressive and appropriate!) Just remember: Make sure the information is credible; there is a lot of political bias tied to this case.

- Read "Enough with the Gates Already." Think about some of the current stories, controversies and exposes in the news. Do they match the same level as Watergate? Are we exaggerating things? Share your thoughts about both articles on Discussion #4.
